Lorena Investments acquired the Harley Medical Group, SK:N Group, and ABC Medical companies after they ceased trading on July 17, 2024. Lorena will take over the branches and is looking to recruit former employees. WHO: Birmingham-based SK:N was founded in 1990 and became the UK’s leading medical skincare clinic group offering dermatology expertise on the high street. SK:N offered more than 200 clinically proven treatments ranging from laser hair removal to anti-aging injectables, from acne solutions to tattoo removal and traditional dermatology treatments. Acquired by private equity firm TriSpan in 2019, the group embarked on a string of six bolt-on acquisitions, including the Harley Medical Group, Skinbrands, The Skin Experts, and ABC Medical, as well as numerous single sites eventually forming the multi-brand Group it was at the time of its collapse.Lorena Investments was founded by David Moulsdale, who is also the owner of the Optical Express Group and ACES, the European leading provider in the ophthalmology sector.
